I know this has been pending for a long time and I know many of you must be eagerly waiting for its review. The reason why I waited for so long before posting its review is because it is a complex electrical product. I wanted to be absolutely sure that there were no hidden bugs that could potentially ruin the experience of owning these beautiful hazard lights. I can tell you right now that the wait has been totally worth its while and finally I have a product that I can totally rave about. So few reasons why you should invest in these hazard lights over any other LED indicators in the market.

1. Say you are riding out with your friends and get stuck in a traffic jam. You know they are behind you but you want to signal them your location. Just switch on these babies and you will immediately get noticed.
2. You are riding in a large group and en route you mix up with another group of riders. You want to signal to your group member to follow you. Just decide on a pattern before the ride and switch it on. Your riders will immediately be able to identify you in the crowd and will follow along.
3. While riding at night on a highway you can switch these on to make yourself more visible to heavy vehicles.
4. You are stuck in some remote location and want to signal for help. Use these to catch attention.
5. During intense fog you can use these to make your vehicle more visible.

The brightest indicator lights for Bullet I have used till date. Even during the day these are very easily visible. Hazard light system has multiple uses. The system gets installed inconspicuously and there are no visible changes to your classic look of the Royal Enfield. No extra buttons or controllers to manage the light functions. Though the lights are extremely bright the system uses SMD boards instead of LED bulbs. My experience with SMD’s before has not been quite positive. I have found them to be prone to defects and complications. However we can only know the reliability of these lights after a certain usage period. Another problem is that for installing these lights your existing bulb system must be cut away. So in case any of these lights fail it will be difficult to replace it. The indicator light signal on the dashboard will have to be removed for this system to work. So you cannot see if your indicator signal is on or off. The hazard system wiring is just plugged in to connectors. With time the naked wiring can get frayed and break off. The installation can be a bit tricky for a layman.

Though all the previous bugs have been cleared in the version 2 there are still things we would prefer in the version 3. For starters using LED bulbs instead of SMD will instill more confidence. The hazard system should also have an SOS morse code flashing signal pattern. After all it is a hazard system!!! Compatible indicator signal dashboard light should be provided along with this system. There should be a socket system in the SMD boards which can be incorporated without cutting any wires. These products from redlineplus can be used for fixing the hazard system wiring more reliably.  The system must be made available to online portals like ebay, flipkart or Amazon so that people are more confident in purchasing them and are able to get their products faster. If there was a method to separately control the light speed, like the product here on redlineplus it would make the product unbeatable. The lights and the hazard system can also be sold separately for those who would want to buy spare or who only want just the light or just the hazard system for their existing LED setup.

Usage tips for Novatronixlabs Indicator lights and hazard system

1. When you receive the system first connect the black wire of each SMD to the negative terminal of the battery and red wire of each SMD to the positive terminal of the battery to check. See that all the lights on each SMD board are glowing or not. Take care not to keep any of the SMD board connected to the battery for more than 3-4 seconds.
2. After that connect each board again to the battery in the same way and apply very little pressure as if to bend the board. See if any of the lights are flickering or switching off. In case they are not you are good to go.
3. In some Bullet the red wire of the hazard system will connect with the red/white wire of a two pin connector instead of the 4 pin connector as shown in the installation video.
4. The indicator lights connectors can be a bit difficult to open. In case they are not opening easily better have an electrical mechanic install your hazard system.
5. I prefer the warm white light which goes with the orange indicator light cover of the Enfield. It is brighter than the amber light. Furthermore because of the orange indicator cover the SMD board is completely hidden, which would otherwise look incongruous on a classic machine. In case you have transparent caps you can opt to buy  orange indicator light covers to replace them.
